We currently have a career opportunity for Marketing and Communications Manager within Essilor Vision Foundation, a 501C3 public charity, at the Dallas, TX location. Position The Essilor Vision Foundation Marketing and Communications Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and Communication and is responsible for increasing brand awareness and strengthening the organization’s reputation. The ability to communicate the vision of the organization in a bold, passionate, and compelling manner is critical to success. In addition, this position will execute marketing, branding, and communications for EVF while collaborating with both Essilor headquarters. This position will be primarily responsible for managing the Essilor Vision Foundation website and developing the online digital marketing strategy to increase the awareness of vision.
Specific Responsibilities • Support the development of marketing/communication of EVF both internally (within Essilor) and of community based programs nationally. • Manage overall web strategy including content, protocols, back end compliance regulations for both nationally and global EVF’s websites • Develop an online digital marketing strategy to generate impressions for EVF and awareness of vision as a cause • Manage, creation and produce marketing materials to support programs and fundraising team (CRM, emails, newsletters, and marketing materials) • Create and manage online forms to collect donor database of all online activities and manage connectivity/data flows into Salesforce. • Develop and implement marketing plans that will contribute to launch of new website, develop acquisition campaigns to grow site registrants, visits, page views, and memberships • Lead a digital marketing strategy to driving traffic, engagement, and educate general audiences for various programs while utilizing all digital and social media channels • Manage online campaigns in both paid and non-paid, external and in-house channels, including email, display, paid search • Determine ROI analysis for marketing programs with the goal of optimizing campaign impact and making recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency • Design creative for marketing initiatives and online tactics • Manage agency and key stakeholder relationships • Assist the Director of Marketing and Communication and team with marketing and communication projects as needed
Core Competencies and Skills • Experience with integrated marketing programs (digital/social media, PR, marketing collateral, etc.) targeted to consumer segments and corporate audiences • Strong organizational (project management), creative and interpersonal skills • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize working under multiple deadlines • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to effectively collect, analyze, organize and present information • Excellent negotiation skills, able to build consensus and find creative solutions • Experience executing paid promotional advertisements on multiple social platforms • Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to effectively articulate foundation’s mission and goals • Must be a self-starter able to work in both a team and independent environment
Requirements • BA/BS in Marketing or related field preferred • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in online marketing with emphasis on direct response campaigns in a marketing/advertising agency or corporate marketing environment • Preferred minimum of three (3) years of nonprofit experience or cause marketing initiatives • Strong working mastery of programs including: Salesforce, CRM Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe programs such as: Adobe Experience Manager, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator • Travel requirement up to 25%
