This position reports to the Vice President of Global Marketing & Digital Business Transformation, and is responsible for leading the Industry Marketing organization, focused on strategic market development. This role leads a team of leaders accountable for providing:
Business intelligence activities including: market intelligence and segmentation, customer insights, VOC, competitive intelligence and customer advisor board management
Solutions development: focused on business value analysis and quantification, gap analysis and input to influence future capability development
Industry marketing programs: to develop thought leadership, messaging, demand creation strategies, and sales enablement and customer-focused content to drive sales growth
This role and organization partners closely with peers in the Global Marketing, Global Industry, Sales Operations & Enablement and Business Development organizations. It is critical that this role and the organization partner with the Portfolio Marketing organization to connect thought leadership, value propositions and strategic messages to our capabilities, services and technology offerings.
The Industry Marketing organization plays a key role in the development of the business strategy, and helps translate strategy to action through the annual operating and commercial plans. This leadership role will help drive the customer-centric orientation of the marketing organization, serve as a role model and evangelist for a market driven approach, and create enthusiasm, support and communications internally and externally to the company. This role will also develop necessary KPIs that help measure the impact of the team in support of key strategic goals and initiatives and report results to senior level management.
