Experienced sales director to sell print and digital advertising for an association covering the state of Florida. Our products are successful and profitable, and the position comes with a well-established account base. We’re only looking to fill this job because our current sales director is retiring after 20 years.
To succeed in this job, you must:
Have advertising sales experience with print magazines, digital newsletters and e-blasts.
Be self-motivated, organized and have proven track record in prospecting, client service, business development and consultative sales.
Have strong written, verbal and phone skills.
Have excellent project management and time management skills.
Knowledge of advertisers in the real estate industry helpful.
Generate print and digital revenue to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
Manage the sales and production cycle from beginning to end.
Develop strong relationships with company owners and other advertising prospects.
Work effectively with advertising and marketing agencies.
Represent association at events in Florida and nationally.
Job is based in Orlando with 2-4 prospecting trips to national events each year. Salary plus commission. Quality work environment with the latest Apple technology and a comprehensive benefits package. EOE
