The Marketing Product Coordinator (MPC) is the primary liaison between the Product Development and Marketing teams. The MPC will be responsible for transitioning new developments into retail products, ensuring all correct product marketing information and imagery are ready for the sales team as well developing and managing product UPC & SKU data. Direct product packaging requirements, including packaging assignment for each product SKU as well as folding and merchandising requirements.
The MPC will also work with product design team in providing market trends in support of product development. The MPC will direct product workbook development for house and licensed brands as well as manage all product imagery. The MPC will also support product launch as required.
The Marketing Coordinator will report to the VP of Marketing.
Role and Responsibilities
Product Development Liaison
Direct transition of new products from development to sales
Develop and manage all Stock Keeping Units (SKU) for house and license brands
Support SKU management for private label customers as required
Direct product packaging requirements for house and licensed brands
Support product packaging requirements for private label customers
Create and manage product marketing data
Direct product photography for house and licensed brands
Manage all product imagery for house and licensed brands
Direct workbook development for house and license brands.
Manage workbook data in NuOrder
Support Sales Team with NuOrder updates as required
Support Public Relations team with product data and imagery for media inquiries as required
Support national Sales Team with product data and imagery as required
Coordinate with website team to ensure website data for house brands is correct and maintained
Respond to retailer inquiries for product information to support consumer sales
Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree with focus in marketing and brand management or product management
Able to work with databases to enter and manage information
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.
Effective verbal communication, clear and concise writing skills
Able to work independently as well within a team environment to achieve objectives
Ability to handle multiple tasks and situations requiring urgent attention is critical.
Must have solid computer skills with ability to use database management systems and Microsoft Office at the intermediate level including Excel & Outlook. Able to learn new software skills as required.
Able to design and develop visual graphic in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or In Design
Photography skills a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Proficient with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or In Design
Familiar with database systems
Proficient with web based applications
