The Member Engagement team is responsible for initiatives that help to provide an exceptional experience to insured members in the AARP-branded insurance products that is both personalized and hassle-free with a focus on retention, and member satisfaction and loyalty. Primary Responsibilities:Proactively leverage market research, customer feedback, and data analytics to identify and quantify opportunities to provide a hassle-free member experience.Collaborate with cross functional teams to build innovative strategies, and implement projects and communications to reduce the effects of pain points for members and the business.Write and implement member facing communications including letters, emails and Customer Service talking points to support product pilots, and market or regulatory events on time and within budget.Determine and implement opportunities to provide an insured member an appropriate real-time, next best action based on data and their unique experience.Incorporate language of caring and plain language best practices into all communications.Remediate Member Impacts as they occur to provide a member-focused response.Leverage market research, customer feedback and data analytics to enhance customer understanding and determine opportunities.Work closely with multiple IT support teams to determine requirements to develop and deliver timely and highly targeted touch-points specific to individual member needs.Build relationships with our client and other departments to test and launch new initiatives in order to deliver a more integrated member experience.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor Degree (or higher) or a High School Diploma / GED with 7+ years of experience in Marketing7+ years of experience in managing direct marketing and / or member communications that deliver positive and measurable results 2+ years in healthcare or other highly-regulated industry5+ years of experience developing and implementing initiatives that drive improvements in customer satisfaction, desired behaviors, and customer retentionOccasional travel (10%)Must be able to work in Horsham, PA office or Minnetonka, MN officePreferred Qualifications:Experience in Operational areas is a plusExperience marketing to the 50+ populationProject Management experienceSoft Skills: Proven effectiveness in working in a matrixed organization to manage and deliver results on multiple initiatives.
