Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Information Resource Management, this position will lead technical aspects of University Advancement's (UA) web/digital outreach strategy across all relevant applications, tools and channels. The position will be responsible for managing web content creation, mass communication schedules, email template management and engagement measurement across web, email, video, mobile, SEM, SEO, affiliates, and other digital marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for technology, digital marketing, user experience, and analytics and will be able to think strategically within both inbound and outbound channels.The position will work closely with Advancement Communications team and Information Resource Management (IRM) team to successfully integrate University Advancement and UCIAA web systems with UA's new donor database; including micro-sites, Cascade webpages, mobile sites, WordPress sites, web programming environment and related web resources. The position will utilize latest programming languages, write code, lead web development projects and coordinate the development of content, graphical and multimedia resources, and other web components provided by IRM and Advancement Communications.The position will manage University Advancement's expanded web administration responsibilities. Design, develop, maintain, and enforce website policies and procedures. Implement a web content management system consistent with University Advancement web goals and objectives. Coordinate the maintenance of content contained in all University Advancement websites and partner with academic units to present a clear and unified message regarding philanthropic support.
